Sunroof Won"t Close

I have a 2000 cavalier, my sunroof will open but it won't shut. However, it's been doing this for years, having problems with both opening and closing it. Today, it was opened slightly so I went to close it, hitting the wrong side and it started to open. I then hit the correct side of the button and it stopped but it would not close. Is there a way to close it manually?

Lol I had the same problem on my 96 cavalier. Turns out it was just a lose wiring so I re-wired it and it works fine.
