hi guys, i searched through the forum for this but couldn't get info on how to get back there ... the glove box of course only rotates so far on it's own, and i can press the edges inward at the back (in an attempt to have it squeeze through) but am not successful
the reason i wanna get back there is that there is a rattling happening and it's really annoying
ANY info at all would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to AF.
To really get back behind the glovebox it will need to be removed.
First step with the glovebox open is to remove that lanyard retainer strap located on the right hand side. It loops over a stud.
Next step is to remove the kickpanel located at the bottom of the dash. Two push on trim clips hold it on. Just let the kickpanel drop down. No need to remove it.
Then you will see the glovebox hinge which is fastened to the metal dashboard frame. There should be about 4 screws that secure the hinge. Remove those and the glovebox should remove.

You're welcome.
Mechanic, sort of. Yeah that is funny, it seems like I'm the only contributor here at times. :dunno:
You get alot of experience owning two Regals over the years.
