will a 350 bolt up to a 4.3 auto trans?

i have a 97 chevy 1500 truck 2wd with an auto trans. will a 350 bolt up to the trans? im haveing problems with the new 4.3 i put in it . im wondering if i can put a carberated 350 in there with out a lot of problems

Yes it should bolt up, I think the bell house is the same but, the 4l60e will not work with out the ecu, that includes the fuel injection system. That trans is electronic and has to have multiple sensors in order to shift. They do make stand alone controlers for the 4l60e though.

i put a used motor in it but im haveing a lot of problems geting it to run rite. should i chang motor/trans or go to a shop and spend big money on the 4.3?
