I got a 97 Dohc neon and it randomly stalls, it been doing this for months
now. After doing the key dance it spitout the useless code 12. I took it to the dealer and they said they could not find anything wrong with it. A week later it stalled again and this time it would not restart, so i had it towed to a firestone shop. They told me the fuse for the fuel injectors was blow and now it runs again, however they do not know why it blew(it could all be BS). Iv got a bad feeling that when i get the car back it will do it again.
NOTE: when the car stalls it lights up the oil light, i always check the oil, its fine (check engine light do's not come on)
i checked the wiring of the battery, it's fine
do's the alternator have its own ground wire?or is it mount act like gound:confused:
when the car dos run it runs great
Thank you for all the help, Dan
P.S. I dont want to replace stuff unless i know for sure that it's broke

hmm, fuel injector circuit shoulda point out to code # 27...
code #12 -> your battery ws disconnected recently? did you go anywhere near the terminals w/ a tool & possibly created a short to blow the fuse?
if everything's running ok, i'd suggest going to your local autozone & do the free OBDII scan instead, just to see a more pinpointed trouble code as seen on the following list:

if nothing's wrong, @ least you'll know where to go next time :P

once in a while after it stalls and wont restart i disconnect the negitive battery terminal to get the car to restart
autozone told me the scanning tool will only pull a code if the check engine light is on, of course i did'nt listen and went ahead and tried the scanning tool to no avail, no codes found
Thank for your reply

Check all your grounds and clean all your connections to the battery, starter, and alternator.
