Well its about time, my 97 civic is paid off and I got enough to downpayment a new car. I modded my civic but never got to using any FI mods on it and now I'm looking for a stock 2003 car with Turbo so I can mod that.

I was looking at a recent car and driver mag and saw a bunch of 2003 turbos coming out for sale. Can anyone recommed a kick ass 2003 turbo car?

Also what kind of mods should I first go for when I get a stock turbo.
I looking in a range of 20K to 35K dollar car. So I cant spend or finance anymore that 35k at the most.

Thanks for input guys.

For a turbo car I'd suggest either a WRX, a mazdaspeed Protege or a Golf GTI with the 1.8L Turbo with the 337 handling package.

Does it have to be a brand new car?

Also, if you like civics i think the new 2.0L civic is going to have a states-side turbo version.

If you can wait until the middle of december, another alternative is the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII/VIII (J-Spec). Same price and quality as the WRX.

Don't get me wrong the WRX is crazy nice.
