cant spin em good enough anymore

ok when i flatmat the gas pedal the car falls flat on her face then picks up like two seconds later anybody have any clue why? it runs extremely good after it picks up ...
it is a 1991 pontiac grandprix with a 3.1 automatic trans

i wouldent do that anymore it will get tired of all those one wheel burnouts and give out....
