Well, It took me and my friend 3 1/2 hours to do but we got both the upper and lower motor mounts in. Yay! The top was fairly easy but the bottom was friggin difficult. It would havebeen impossible without a jack and jack stands. I was going to take before and after videos but i couldn't find my friend's camera. I can post some pics and a video probably tomorrow though.

yea I drove it earlier today. I can definintly feel a difference as i accelerate right after i shift. I have gotten a chance to downshift then punch it yet. Does vibrate a little more when idleing but its not too bad. The most important tool in putting the lower one in is a hammer. They definitly seem worth the 65 bucks. Hopefully it will shave ome tenths at the track. But Ill have to wait to find out

there a waste of 65 bucks...i got them and yea your feel a difference...but you will never feel any power out of them...there a waste unless ur engine is beef'd up enough to move around alot

your dumb..... they keep your motor from "rolling" makes for better power to tire ratio, $65 is cheap for that

:eek7: lol what? It doesn't matter if your car is "beefed up" or not, when parked, you could see my 96 2.2 stock motor moving like 4-5 inches back and forth while shifting through gears with brand new stock motor mounts. I installed the polyurethane mounts and there was NO movement. lol and of course you're not gonna feel and power from them - THEY'RE MOTOR MOUNTS. Anybody will tell you they are well worth the $65 :grinno:

of course you'll never feel any "power" out of them, they're not designed to give your engine more power, they just recover torque lost in the drivetrain,

and torque is english for power to wheels to ground

He's right, you overpaid.
Got my upper and lower for about 25 bucks.
Cavalier2000, they arent to create power. They are to reduce engine movement, which results in recovery of lost power.

i never siad they created power, i said better power to tire ratio, take the power you engine has and get it to the wheels better, bought mine for $20 shipped

lol in all of this argument how does reducing the engine movement on a 115WHP car? i dont think stoping the little bit of movement the engine is doing is gonna do anything even remotely close...if anything, get them so that the girl in ur car gets wet when u shift from 1st to 2nd
