Putting seat covers on rear seat

Hi,

I have a prizm 2001, the rear seat cover has been spoiled badly, i wanted to put on the new seat cover (Universal Fit). I tried to put it but It appears that I would need to remove the rear seat to do so.
Can some one please tell me on how i can put on the seat cover on the rear seat ?
