My son's Acclaim is leaking coolant onto the driver's side floor. We just flushed the heater core, and that is when the leak started, so I assume we must replace the heater core. How difficult is it to do, and any tips? Thanks in advance. JWS

Never done an accliam, but have done a few, Isuzu Trooper, chevy nova, ford ranger...lol

Other than having to be a contortionist at times, they are not bad.

Drain Radiator(might as well, you probably don't have much antifreeze in it.), unhook heater hoses at firewall, probably should say exactly what to take apart in your Haynes manual, but if you don't have one, I don't remember much of a console to get out of your way, then you will probably some duct work to unhook, all pretty easy stuff. Once you determine you have enough room to get it out, the actual heater core will probably be inside of duct box of some sort. OK I am not being exact here, but If you have not done it before, you should get a manual, or just have patience and work your way through it.
