hey guys, i have a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue and im getting a P0385 code when i scanned it.
The car shuts off sometimes while driving.
It says "Malfunction in Crankshaft Position Sensor "B""
.....i was wondering, are there 2 sensors on this car? are they located behind the starter? how do i know which one i need to change???
any help would be appreciated guys...THANKS.

There is only one crankshaft sensor.

Yes you have to remove the starter to get to it. Someone might chime in about having to reset the computer or some relearn procedure but I don't think it's necessary.

there are two sensors on the one sensor. When you replace the CKP sensor you are actually replacing both sensors. The relearn procedure (need a Tech2) was not necessary when I replaced mine over a year ago and it still runs excellent.
I bought mine at the GM dealer for ~$108?

Yes it is directly under the starter. I think it is held in with one bolt if memory serves. If you didn't see the link to rockauto, they have the AC Delco sensor for $63 if you can wait for the mail. I understand if you needed it yesterday.
