power locks

is there a module somewhere that controls the power locks?
Mine lock when i first press the brake to shift, and unlock when i turn off the car. This is good. But sometimes, when i turn off the car the locks unlock, but they keep getting power. and so it sounds like a motor is turning, from every lock in the car. After about 6 seconds, that stops. And then when you flick the electric lock button on the door, nothing happens. But you can hear a relay or something clicking (everytime u flick the switch) from around the glovebox area. It then takes quite a long time for it to start working properly again.
This just happened again last night, and i found that if i turned the key to on, pressed the brake, the doors would lock and begin working again.

Do you know I can reset the power locks on my 94 cavalier rs?
