Tamiya racing white

Has anyone used this color before i tried it on a wrx and it didnt come out pure white but a little yelloish...I want a paint that is pure white...Which one do you think will be good? Would Pearl white be better than Racing white??

when i painted 2 models one pure white and one racing white, I noticed the racing white was a bit more yellow, so im assuming its how its supposed to be

also I used pearl white on my GTO and I like how it looks, it reflects light differently.. I like it, but only for certain things

Should i stick with my racing white for my wrx and itr or change to pure white?

That is up to you, whichever you like better, If you think pure white looks better than its your model :) However my personal opinion is I would keep it racing white, Something a little different. honestly when I showed my friend both models he couldnt tell the difference... But again your call :cool:

Racing white is suppose to give a creamy creamy look. Personally i think it will look good on a 97' ITR..

yeah i think racing white should be used for Hondas Championship white
a friend here has a white WRX and it matches more closely with pure white...
but then again, it's ur own person preference on what u want to paint ur model.

Yes, the color is meant to be used for Honda RA272 F1 racer, which was painted in that color. The more recent Type-R are not pure white, but slightly (just slightly) yellowish, to coincide with the car, which brought Honda the first victory in F1 in 1965.

signature type-r baby. hell yea. i bought tamiya racing white for my ITR and EK-4. but i'm having second thoughts. Maybe black since my car is black
