Stereo problems...

I just bought my car a few weeks back, and there was a lot of ghetto-rigging on the wires...
The stereo was wired up wrong, and only two speakers in the front were working... I fixed the wiring (so I thought) and now the dash speakers, and rear speakers are working... The problem is, the door speakers (they are fine, as is the wires) are not working... I remember that there were two sets of wires of the same colors (wire colors were for front left and right) and I hooked them all together, but the door speakers haven't worked since...
Any ideas? Did I do something wrong?

You have dash speakers? How'd you get those to work? I have no wires coming down from them. Were they in a seperate harness or something?
Best bet is to just take a 9 volt battery and test pairs of wires to see which ones pop. Try one wire with all of the others and see if it works. If not, try another wire and try the rest of them and see if they pop. Easiest way to do it in my book.

I'm not sure a/b them coming in a different harness, my car's harness was butchered before I bought it... I'll try the 9-volt thing...
There are two sets of front speaker wires 2-white/blue wires (front left+) and 2 white/red (front right +)... but I never saw a second set of ground/negative wires...IIRC... I need to get back in there and look, but no time during the week...
