Moog Links on Ext TB will not work

Took my 04 Ext Blazer to a local shop to replaced the front end links with moog, they did the job, but less than 50 miles later the front end started to make a loud clunking/banging metal to metal sound. (Worse than with the older links) Took the 04 xt back to the shop to have the Moogs replaced with another set. The shop foreman, which is a GM mechanic said that the Moogs did not work on the ext style verison, due to the stabilizer bar being different than the regular TB. I had to be replaced them with the standard links. I took his word on this, just worried that these links will be shot again soon. Has anyone heard of this? The Moogs not working on the Ext TB.

I'm not sure how the EXT is set up in the front, but maybe he forgot to grease them causing extremely premature failure.

Or maybe he should have told the parts house it was an ext and realized they are not available in the aftermarket yet. I believe the stud holes are larger hence the knocking.

Thanks I talked to him again and it was an error in ordering, did not realize that the ext are different and unavailable at this time. Thanks for the comments
