if you're interested in the 60's/70's drug culture capitol in San Fransisco, or just want something interesting to read, pick this up. its a nice non-fic read, real quick, too. one of the better historical lit peices i've read in a while.

I'll have to check that one out.

Another great read about the same subject is "The Electric Koolaid Acid Test" by Tom Wolfe... biography of Ken Kesie (author of "One Flew Over the Coo-Coo Nest" and leader of the Merry Pranksters... the ones that toured the country in the sixties in that day-glo painted school bus).

yeah, i know all about kesie and the merry pranksters, and i've heard about that book before, just never checked it out. i'll have to pick it up
