Help- Anyone with an Owners Manuel

I bought a 05 beetle conv and it did not come with an owners manuel. I need to buy an infant car seat and do not know which ones will work in the vehicle. The car seat manufactors say to check with the cars owners manuel. Does the owners manuel give any information on infant car seats?

Any help would be greatly apprecieted?

G'Day Emily,
All infant car seats must comply with a set of standards which make is compulsory that they fit all cars. In Australia they call them Australian Design Rules or ADRs. I'm sure they are the same in your part of the globe. We can and have fitted any one of a dozen different brands to our NB (we have 7 kids and 11 grandkids). They all have the single strap which goes under the rear headrest and clips on the bracket plus the adult seatbelt goes thru the seat as well. Any problems pls ask. Denis
