installing air conditioner pump

I need to install a new ( it's reconditioned) air conditioning pump on a 1997 Plymouth Voyager V-6 3.0 ltr. I was told you need to put a lubricant into the pump. My question is what kind of lubricant and how much? Is it then ready for installation and then filled with the refrigerant 134?
