installing a 6 bolt in a 2g

when i lived in michigan a year and a half ago, i had a 91 eclipse gst. ran good and all, but i didnt really take good care of it. when i first got it, the turbo was seized, so i replaced the turbo. wow...the first time i had ever felt the boost. so naturally i just boosted the crap out of it everywhere i went. then i put a boost controller on it and boosted even more. i got in 3 different accidents with the car, mainly fender benders. the last accident was a head on collision, resulting in a leaky radiator. i would just keep filling it up with water and such instead of replacing it, and i was driving about 200+ miles a week. of course it was mad overheating ALL THE TIME. so naturally over the few years i had it, i noticed the gradual-to-steep decline in performance. it seemed so tired and old and worn-out. So before i moved here to florida last year, i sold it to a friend of mine who's daughter was gonna be driving soon, and it would be a good cheap car to learn how to drive a stick and whatever. Well this family is broke, and my friend sees no point in keeping the car now, it hasnt been started in at LEAST 9 months.

Well, I was tallking to him the other day about it, and i mentioned what if i were to give him his money back($250) plus a couple hundred more,(probably a total of $500) and he take out the engine and send it to me? A 6 bolt, that would probably need a new head due to warpage. Does it sound like a good idea to try to rebuild the engine, new cams, crank, pistons, rods, rings, seals, head, the WORKS, or would it be better to get a motor that didnt have so much wear and tear on it? and does all the wear and tear really matter so much as the block is concerned? I figure i might have to get it machined, and ported polished, stroked, bored, whatever. So do you guys think I should do it? And then, if i did do it, what other things would i need? would I need the ecu too? Basically, my question is......

What all do i need to do a 6-bolt conversion in a 2g, and is it worth it to do this conversion with the motor mentioned above?

thanks for your help!
