Runs fine cold, bad warm

1995 Honda Civic with 1.5L. When cold the engine runs pretty good and starts well. Then once the engine gets warm it is harder to start, but will. Then the power of the engine seems to drop during the acceleration of gear changes. Once you overcome the bogging of the engine in a gear the motor will pickup speed and seem to run ok until the next gear change. When you finally get into 5th you gon't want to have to stop or downshift. Any ideas would really be welcome. Thanks much!
