Hi everyone, I had a question, see if someone could help me. I'm having problems with my power steering pump leaking, I've already replaced the pump. It was good for about a week then it started leaking again. I have to put power steering fluid every day. So i was wondering what else it could be. If anyone has any suggestions? Thanks

Welcome to AF Armygirl20 !

Sounds like your hoses might be leaking.
Other than that the power steering rack under the car could be leaking too.

power steering fluid doesnt evaporate very well, so thier should be evidence of the fluid somewhere.

hey xeroinfinity, so i found out where my leak is comming from. Its not a good thing. Its comming from my cam. I had another question. Is your power steering connected to your tranny?

Your cam?
It cant leak PS fluid, it can leak oil.
WHat size motor is in ur GA?

No the transmission is not connected to the Powersteering(PS).
Tho, the PS lines run by the trany and the lines do look very simular.

Yeah I know, we found out its leaking oil too, so. I knew the ps doesnt go to the tranny, but my dad said something like that. So i had to make sure. I have the 97' se grand am. 4 banger

Sounds like you need new hose(s) for your transmision.

Is your power steering still leaking ?
