Hi!
I'm new here and new to the modelling scene. Been wanting to airbrush since I bought this kit
I don't usually airbrush that much because car frames don't usually look good with it, but I also do other kits like military vehicles that require some airbrushing
I've found one pretty good airbrush set sold by tamiya:http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=74520
Heard good things about it, and thought of buying it. Just this one gripe, it uses battery to power the compressor.
But I can live with that, no worries. But then, the product didn't come with the battery. Tried looking arnd the net, found no matches for the Tamiya battery pack!?
So, is it compatible with other brands' battery pack?
Like for example this one:http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJA83&P=ML

Yes, standard RC pack with "tamiya" connector.

It will work with that battery pack, you can get a better deal buying the multi-pack of battery packs though, and don't forget you'll need a means to recharge those batteries too.

Yep, any 7.2 volt electric RC battery will do the job, with Tamiya connectors of course. Depending on how much you can get the airbrush/compresosr set by Tamiya for its pretty good. Its fairly basic as it says, it does the job of laying colour down.
Added bonus if your into 1/10 RC cars, don't need to double up on buying batteries!
