01 camry timing belt

mine is bad,rotor will not spin. what are the steps or secrets in changing this out? What is the water pump and seals and some springs that I have read about, do you suggest in changing these also? thanks in advance

If you are going to do the repairs, make sure you can remove the crank pulley bolt before you do anything. Either bring it to a shop with an air wrench and ask them to loosen it for you, then tighten it temporarily until you get home, or put a breaker bar on it with the end of the wrench against the ground facing the front of the car and give the starter a bump.
I suggest you change the water pump and the crank and cam front seals also. While you have the front dissassembled, check the various parts as outlined in the Maintenance Manual and replace as necessary.
