odd rear washer problem

I have a 2000 xls 4 door 4wd 4.0l ohv ok the problem I'm having is if I park on an incline like my driveway all of my washer fluid just pours out of the washer fluid nozzle on the rear wiper arm I have changed the pump twice once because it crapped out and once to see if that was why the fluid was pouring out of the nozzle is there a check valve what keeps gravity from pushing the fluid out if left on an incline

Per the factory service manual:

The rear washer hose contains a check valve, which is located in the hose that passes through the liftgate in the rear of the vehicle. This check valve holds the entire line full of washer fluid between washer operation. There is also a stand pipe located along the right hand D-pillar of the vehicle. This stand pipe prevents the unintentional release of washer fluid from the rear washer nozzle. If the hose is cut or disconnected after the line was initially primed with fluid, and the washer system is turned on, the stand pipe may fill with fluid. To resolve this, once the hose is repaired, temporarily disconnect the check valve to allow fluid in stand pipe to drain to lowest point in the hose; then reinstall the check valve.

Looks like you may want to look into the stand pipe and check valve.

OK i took a look there is no check valve in the d pillar there is a T fitting in the line with the stand pipe coming off the T fitting on the top of the stand pipe is another fitting with a red cap on it i took the whole thing apart they are all just basic fittings there is no check valve unless its in the tailgate oh after taking it apart it doesn't pour out any more its just dripping

From the diagram in the service manual, it appears that the check valve may be located near the wiper motor in the liftgate.

as odd as this sounds the relay went bad changed it at all problems stop thanks for you replies
