Little glitches add charm

Remember last year, the first couple of <50F nights, my car did the "dead silence from the starter" routine, and I had to bust out the hammer and give it a couple of taps to get it running? That happened about 4-5 times, then it was fine since.
Just dropped to about 49F the other night, and like clockwork, it did it again :lol: ...the hammer was still right where I left it on the floor under my seat, clang, clang, and we're off again :wink: . Really should replace that starter, but I actually for some reason get a kick outta little suprises like that...makes me feel like my car wants my attention, you know?:p
Must be the same reason I enjoy Harley ownership....

Jeff, youre' a glutton for punishment. Replace the starter before the hammer doesn't help, you knucklehead, :grinno:
