Gonna need the wheel studs for the front to actually run these, but I have them, so no biggie. :icon16:

Might as well be running spare donut tires...looks good from the side view. Can't tell a difference.

WTF, they look like truck tires. What the hell are they doing an a Trans Am?

And who's red C5 (Z06?) is that in the background

Yes, Z06. It is my roommates.
They are skinnies. Radials that work and are cheap. Don't care much how they look as long as they help with rotational mass and weight.

All drag cars have thinner tires right? That's a good thing

But you can't tell from the side so your car looks like a NASCAR.

now the test is to see if you can lift them bad boys off the ground, lol

While lifting the tires looks cool, it slows you down a little.
I am sure it will...but probably not on this driveshaft.

I was able to leave at around 3200 RPM's on the Nitto DR's. Sometimes they would hook, other times the car would hop a bit causing spin.
Should be able to leave around 4500-4800 RPM's now. :iceslolan

"Yeaaaaah.. she's my daily.. you know cause she's slow and can handle during the winter" :grinno:

Thats like a major diss towards the Z06 and a total ego boost for the T/A since its a bit quicker.

About one and a half seconds quicker to the 1/4 mile, and about 9-10 MPH faster to the same distance.
I wish it wasn't that quick. My car REALLY needs a diet.

ya i need to trim my car down also, i put myself on a diet also. lost 10lb's. i don't really know what i can take out of my car because it is my daily driver, i know i can take my smog pump out but that is all i can think of, i still need my a/c., and spair tire. some little queer at my school cam up to me he has a stock 96 acura integra 5speed and he is like oh i can smoke any v8 unless it is supercharged or turboed. i LMAO!! So i am going to put my headers on and my exhaust and do my cam and shift kit an dget a good tune and blow him away. i am going to bet on this race also.
