Where's it at??

Last month I bought an 04 Silvy 2500HD and i want to change the fuel filter. Where is it?? The book say's it's on the inside of the frame rail, but I can't find it there. Did they have another location that they used to mess with us?:naughty:

No it should be on the inside fraim rail on the driver's side, Or at least thats the only place i have known about there being one

They went to a filter inside the fuel tank. Supposedly its unserviceable and you have to buy the entire assembly. Just another way for them to make more money I suppose.

Fuel filter is located in the fuel tank....It's service life is equal to the life of the fuel pump

or the other way around.
the pumps service life is equal to the filter.

My buddy finally had to replace his pump at 230k miles and his filter looked pretty good.

04 thats when they put the fuel filters in the gas tank my 03 the filter is on the frame rail i guess i got lucky for buying that year

might be easier to pull the bed off to change the pump/filter as i have pulled the tank on an '02 . what the **** is the hose inside the fill hose for ?

the hose inside the filler hose is for ventalation

what them engineers won't come up with
