:banghead: this is driving me up the wall i have a 1997 ply. voy 2.4 lit eng.
haedgasket 2 times i have replace and this will be the 3rd time i may replace this again , is there a better high end headgasket out there , please someone tell me

Maybe the gasket isn't the issue. Maybe the head or the block is warped. Have it checked at a machine shop to insure it is true or you will never keep a gasket in it. Also I am not certain but check to see if the bolts are torque to yield. If they are, purchase new head bolts before reinstalling. This should eliminate the issue.

If your engine is TTY on the head bolts be sure you are following the instructions correctly. By all means buy new bolts this time. Don't trust AutoZone torque specs or procedures. After a casual glance I found one incorrect spec that contridicted their own repair instructions, neither of which is correct.
