Sound System

I was just wondering,Can you add a new amp and a sub for a 99 conti without really having to change everything?I like my factory system and i think it sounds good but i want to take those 6x9's out and put a 12 subwoofer in and hook up an after market amp in place of the factory amp...can it be done?
