Can the speed-compensated volume control on the Delco Radio be adjusted? Its seems that quite often I have to either increase the volume at highway speeds or lower the volume at slow speeds. I'm not sure if this auto volume control is working correctly. Thanks for any help.

On my wife's Rendezvous, you can set the "level" of compensaion...low, medium, high...which will make a difference of how much the volume changes based on speed. Medium is a touch too loud, but low is not enough compensation, taking into consideration the Rondy's level of road noise. We leave it on medium and adjust it if it gets to be too loud. But, the Rondy has a completely different looking radio to begin with. It looks like the LeSabre's radio...flat, with the display for the song title, radio station call sign, etc.
On the Park, I haven't even figured out how the radio is supposed to adjust...I've only read that it is supposed to. I can say mine doesn't...at all. I replaced my AM/FM/Cassette with a stock AM/FM/Cassette/CD. But even the original non-CD radio never adjusted. The Park's radio (at least through 2004...I don't have the 2005 sales brochure) never changed from the style used throughout the mid/late-90's.
Please post your findings so I can try to get mine working, too. Thanks.
