Hello,
I am posting on behalf of my Father who has a Peugeot 407SW. He has a question that it appears Peugeot are either unable or unwilling to answer. Here it is:
When the engine is switched off, the radio can still be operated for about 20 minutes, then it turns off. He has been lead to believe that this is "economy mode", but if he wants to switch the radio back on, he had to start the engine which hardly sounds economical to me. Has anyone else come across this? And, more importantly, short of buying a battery powered radio that is separate to the car, is there anything he can do to at least have the radio on for longer? Or possibly, when it goes off, that he can switch it back on without cranking the engine?
