Our 91 Bonneville (192k miles) is throwing a code 41, and is having an intermittent stalling/loss of power problem. I replaced the cam sensor, but the problem continued. Last night with the help of a handy little mirror and my son's help bumping the starter, I was able to confirm that the cam magnet is in its proper position. I am therefore led to believe from previous help on this board that it is probably the crank position sensor. Any further help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
Dave

Intermittent problems can be tough to track-down. You need to check for a signal from the cam sensor, while the problem is ongoing.

I believe that is a dual crank sensor, puts out two signals, check those.

My info shows the cam and crank sensors share two circuits. A problem on those circuits could effect both sensors. I don't know if two codes would set?

I'd check those sensor signals before I replaced anything.

Replacing the crank position sensor should cure your problem. The CPS and CamPS do share circuits so you can get the same code for both. Since you confirmed the CamPS is ok then the crank position sensor would be your next choice.
