depends on where you are applying it, they all have uses.

guess i'll go with second skin.

i have a question when i put it under my carpet will it make it plusher?

it the floor you really should not notice to much of a difference but on he door you will because depending on the make and model of your car it might be a pain getting the panels back one with it on.

so would you suggest the liquid or the spray or the mats?

theres so many suggestions.
or is there a mixture i should use like spray in some places mat in other?

headliner i'm guessing spray?
mat for most other places?

you can use mats throughout your car without major conflict. fitting could be resolved with a utility knife and some brains. what you use is preference. as for the performance advantages/disadvantages of the different types of products, i'm at a loss for knowledge.

Alluminum Dynamat works pretty good

for a small, personal setup, it shouldn't matter what company you use. be smart and just save your money by buying the cheapest sound deadening out there. Once you get into higher range dB's, you'll probably need expensive stuff like 2nd Skin.

i plan on having roughly 1750 watts

the problem with cheaper stuff is, it doesn't stick too well. You have to have and KEEP a good adhesion between the mat and the panel for it to be effective.

what if i also spray it with some 3m adhesive spray. also what about dynamat extermine.i just found that circuit city sells it so locally buying for me is better.

dynamat should work fine. When you apply the mats, make sure you do a thorough job. buy a wood roller if you want to be able to use your fingers for the next week or so.

Dynamat Extreme is a great product, if you are willing to spend the money. I have 6 bulk packs (216 sq. ft) in my car and it does wonders for everything. DB, rattles, road noise. Great stuff. Spendy though, you can probably get it cheaper online than in a store if you look around. The cheapest in a store I've been able to get a bulk pack down to was like $150. I've seen it pretty cheap online, but you have to surf, it's usually not going to be that cheap on the major online retailers. Look around and bargin, and you can get the price down.

Whatever you use, make sure the surface is dead clean. Wax and grease remover works great. If it's really bad try a good cleaner/degreaser first, followed by wax and great remover. Just remember, if the surface isn't clean, you won't get good adhesion, and adhesion is important with peel and stick products, as PaulD said. So make sure it's really clean. Also, as was said, invest in a roller. This also will help make sure you get all the air pockets out and that it conforms to the surface well.
