I've been stabed toomany times to rember...but this was from someone who I considered closer than anyone other than my girl....i've known her for years and now shes just tearing me apart...this shit hurts more than getting run over, breaking bones, getting shot and stabbed, etc... I didn't say that. I loved the story of the movie, but the cars suck. You know which movie I'm talking about. Yes, I race all the time, just like you, and I wish I had a 5.0 or a 5.0 HO in my cougar. I respect you for that, but my life does not revolve around drag racing. I'm just saying that I am more open in a car.

When I step into my car, I don't always go out racing. Sometimes I just go out for a little ride and get away from everyday life for awhile. You know what I mean. Like when I get pissed off about something, I want to jump in my car and go for a little ride. It provides time to think and reflect on life.

Sorry about the attitude. I wish I had a car just like yours. Maybe a superbird or a thunderbird sport. :rolleyes:

I was using that line as a joke, if you want such an engine,well... whatever engine you have you can make great, even the 6, just supercharge it like the SC. If its the 2.4 simply turbo it like the TC, both ran 14's stock. And if you lower itand putway stiffer shocks, it can actually handle well too. Put a soundsystem for your drivin, maby a cup holder, whatever, but chill with the attitude, alright?

Well I think I'm going to forget about the 3.8 in the cougar. It's just to old. But like I said before in other forums, I just got an escort. What would you recommend doing to it to make it fast. It's got the 1.9 EFI that pushes out 100-110 HP. Maybe not 10 second fast. But 13 second fast.

With an escort you could drop in a ZTEC engine and turbo it, or supercharge it, cam gears, different cam, good header, and you'd be smokin alot of cars out there.

Got the tire fixed. My dad works at a ford dealership so I got the tire fixed for free. Thats pretty cool. We put two quarts of oil in it because it was a little low. Now it feels alot smoother.

The ZTEC is the 16 value four bangger they put in the focus and the newer escorts right. I drove a 2000 focus for drivers ed and it was tight. Engine wise. This one guy was going 50 on a 55. And the teacher wanted me to pass him. So I hit the gas and away we went. It was faster then any car I have ever driven. Not my friends Grand Prix. It will go.

How much would it cost to drop a ZTEC in my escort. I'd have to get a new tranny to, wouldn't I. Wait, the engine in the focus is a Zertec. The same thing right? But I know I would have a little bit of money in a supercharger.
