Touch Screen PC in my X?

It looks as if I can get my hands on a touch screen based Windows NT POS terminal that I have plans to turn into a an MP3 player for my truck.

Here (http://www.aspeon.com/images/DS-Viper.pdf) is a link for the model that I can get my hands on. It has a 1W stereo output (standard PC sound card output) into an 8-Ohm load.

My questions are as follows...

1. How hard would it be to wire power for this thing and could my current alternator (stock) and battery (Optima Yellow Top) handle it?

2. Do most head units have an input that would be compatible with my output?

I don't want a kick ass sound system, nor do I need one. I just figured that this unit could serve as an MP3 player as well as a direction mapper with help from a GPS (through 1 of the available serial ports).

It does not have a CDROM or a floppy so I am somewhat limited while it is in the car, but it does have an ethernet port so I can upload maps, programs and the like from any network.

What do you guys think?

ps - Did I mention this thing is FREE! :-)

if it has rca type outputs it should be possible to use it on a head unit with cd changer input even if it does you could use the headphone jack and get the wire with headphone ajck on one side and rca's on the other end the altanator should be able to handle it i guess try turning it on and turn the radio on if when the bass hits the lights on the radio go dim than i would get a high output altanator:smoker2: :smoka:
