1998 towncar

i have a 1998 tc that have 40,000 miles on it and somebody ran into it while it was parked. ihave a friend that works for an insurance company who said they are probably going to total the car but the title is reconstructed. Does anybody know how they calculate reconstructed titles

Talk to your attorney they will try to get out as cheap as possible. Wait until after the offer you don't have to take it on the spot. Make a deal to buy it back if you want it. Get some repair estimates from a shop you trust. Do this before you talk to the adjuster.
