Good exhaust suggestions

Hey yall, just wanted to throw a quick question out. What mufflers out there would be good to meet two requirements: no ricer sound to it, :nono: I can't stand sounding like a mosquito; and relatively easy on the wallet. Doesn't necessarily have to be loud, just decent tone or quiet, and better flow then stock. I'm going to be putting an intake on it and want to balance flow on both ends, but don't want to sound like someone who watch Fast and Furious too many times. :p

go to www.summitracing.com and check out Dynomax mufflers, alot of them are under $50 and of course they are good. Any Magnaflow muffler you get is gonna need a resonator to somewhat eliminate that ricer shit sound.

^^ Any straight through flow muffler will need a resonator if accompanied by a new header. It for some reason when new headers are installed is when the bumble bee sound comes around.

Actually, im planning on just buying the whole single-exit magnaflow exhaust for the eco this weekend since I finnaly got $1000 saved again. Maybe with the left over I can buy headers and be done for a bit. Anyway, if I do order it ill be sure to tell you how it turns out, altho $600 isnt that easy on the wallet. But it beats bringing up my old topic from the dead.

What header do you have? Pacesetter?

lots of people will tell you dynomax doesnt sound ricer, but basically its louder than any other ricer can ive ever heard in my life. if you dont want a ricer sound, just get a larger engine displacement, itll get you more roar, becuz all freeflow mufflers youll be typically looking at will be glasspack or similar, which all sound the same on engines ranging from the low (1.8L), to the relatively medium (2.4L)...

you should get the fireball, lol youll be sounding like a whining RX-7 whizzing by.
