Map sensor ??

Could damp weather and a faulty map sensor play havoc with intermitent stall problems and poor idling when weather has been wet and humid outside ..Maybe a IAC sensor could it cause improper fuel and air mixture ..i notice when the car does run poorly it smells real lean coming out of the exhaust pipe

Any suggestions would be great .

Normally I would look at the ignition module and the crank sensor. The ignition module will act up most when damp or hot if it is failing. Might clean the IAC anyway and check all vacuum lines. Would not suspect MAP unless you are getting trouble codes....

Open the hood and run the engine after dark if it looks like a christmas tree you have bad plug wires. While it can be other problems discussed in the other posts this is a cheap test.
