Hi fellows tonight I show here pictures of the `89 Eunos Roadster in Bugatti Blue..Nothing much to complain about the kit. ITīs pretty straight forward to make and fun.Includes Hardtop.Pitty about the lack of engine. Will it have to have a rotative for Tamiya to put it there.MAy the next generation.
Regards to all.

Hey-nice car;)
My name ZoomZoomMX-5 comes from Mazda's Zoom Zoom advertising and MX-5 from the name of the basic car. Eunos badges are popular amongst Miata maniacs in the states.
In the states, the Miata was introduced as a 1990. Were they considered '89's in your area?
A rotary would be cool. There's a company here that makes Monster Miatas w/5.0 liter Ford V8's. The motor fits amazingly well, and actually doesn't weigh all that much more than the stock engine.
I've enjoyed seeing your models scattered around the site as I surf through the previous entries.

Hi ZoomZoom , thanks for your kind compliments.
Well , responding to your question, here in Europe the car was released at the beginning of 1990, at least judging by the first Euro-spec car test drive that i have in a magazine.Spring of 1990(I think), so we have not much doubt about.
Anyway except for these last years , we donīt call a car `90 model if itīs released on october `89.A car made or sold in any month of 1989 is a `89 model. but , as i say, things change lately and Euro firms present around september-october the following yearīs ranges.
In Europe the Eunos Roadster itīs called the MX-5 , they lack about the Miata badges.
Other changes from the US versions would be non working safety lights , substitued by catadioptric lenses and of course the 115hp 1600c.c. engine.Apart from this , I think that MAzda adds for us , rear anti-fog lamp and a large space in the for the license plate.
About that Miata FORD powered , yes I heard about it , but....in a Miata...has no much sense really. A transplant of a Japanese-Spec 280hp 13B twin turbo in the body of any of the M2 lightweight Roadster bodies would be quite more interesting.
Curious that thing about the Eunos badges , i didnīt know it. I knew about buying Silvia badges for the ones who has a 200/240SX but not the Mx-5.Nice.
Well , Zoom Zoom Regards
