96 Skylark 3.1 V6 fuel pump relay location

Where is the fuel pump relay on a 3.1L V6 Skylark? The haynes/Chilton said it was on the right side stut tower brace (middle relay). There are four relays there and I unplugged all of them and the car still ran fine. Any ideas?
