Okay after reading alot of post's by people with 1g's (90-94) who want to do a non-turbo to turbo swap. I have done 3 of these swaps 2 of which were on my cars so i will share my info.
Okay most people will now say man turbo swaps cost to much (not true) i did both swaps for under $900.00 total. Also i will try to clear up myth's and use my tricks i used to pull both swaps off with success.
1st off 6bolt turbo blocks are great unlike 7bolt's which tend to crankwalk at high HP. Same applys with the 4g63 Non-turbos the 90-91 non-turbo blocks are good, but the Non-turbo 7bolt models (93-94) tend to spin rods at high boost.
Heres the parts list.
1.Turbo wiring harness 1990 only works with 1990! So get a 1991-1994 harness.
2. Turbo Ecm (ecu) just like the harness it self 90 can only be used with 1990 so use a 91-94 computer. (eprom or non-eprom but eprom is proven to be better)
3.Turbo throttle body or you can use the non-turbo throttle body which flows bettter then the turbo you will just hate to do some custom work to the turbo pipeing to make it work if useing a N/t TB.
4. 1g Bov, intercooler rubber hoses and also metal lines,j-pipe for the turbo.
5. Turbo exhuast manifold 1g or 2g but 2g is better,O2 houseing,14b turbo,Gst downpipe, Intercooler side mount or Front Mount. BUT if you do get a front mount intercooler you mite as well get the pipeing with it. Also you can use the stock side mount intercooler from the mazda 626 turbo it is the same as the stock OEM intercoolers as what we got.
6. turbo and non-turbo 4g63's ALL have the same thremastat houseing and water pipes coming from the throttle body.
7. turbo and non-turbo oil filter houseing is the same. BUT 93 on up have smaller oil filters then 90-92 dsms.
8. turbo injectors 450cc min. with injector resister pack. But if you get 450cc indepent injectors you will have no need for the resister pack.
9. Turbo oil and coolant lines.
10. Turbo fuel pressure regulater
11. turbo mass senser, 1g or 2g. (2g is better but again some costom work will need to be done.
12. some will say you need to use the turbo tranny Not true there is no proff that the non-turbo tranny is any weaker then the turbo models.
Well thats my list of what you need, all i can say other then that is if you got some common sence and a decent mechanical mind this swap is pretty simple. I hope this helps.
heres a list of links to help your searches on n/t to turbo swaps.

You could have just edited your post, but that's not a complete list. For it to run properly you HAVE to tune it. DSMLink + socket is pretty expensive. On a budget you'd be better off with SAFC-I/II and a pocketlogger. Plus you'll need a boost controller. I'm sure there is other stuff, but there is also sticky write-up on this too. It kinda sucks though. Have you really done this before with no tune or boost controller?? The 14b's gated at 11 psi I believe and NT pistons aren't designed for that.
