RSX Turbo type-MR (mid-engine)

I've started a new project. It's a Acura rsx type-s (Revell tuner series). I want to make a mid-engine with a turbocharger.

The rear suspention comes from a old Honda NSX.

I use the stock engine and make a scratchbuild turbokit.

You might be interested in this if you never seen this before. It's not exacly the RSX but it's very close. This should be nice, love the idea.

Today my aluminum wheel sleeves with tires arrived. I've used the original RSX wheels and modified it to fit in. I've also made the wheels smaller.

Im lovin the air intake and intercooler. Are u going to make a slick little cowl for it by the window? n what bout the cooler?

The engine is finished now. The turbo and exhaust manifold is made out of a small electic cable.

thats a great looking engine, the intercooler and engine bay look fantastic. Sort of like my current project, putting a V12 in a skyline.

Personally I would dump the speakers. No one that owns a turbo mid-engine converted RSX is going to be cruising around town bumping some tunes.

All in all though, it looks like it's coming together quick. Keep up the good work. Are you going to make the trunk open?

The interior is finished. I've painted it like Ferrari leather. The seat belts are made of fabric.

Excellent progress:thumbsup: I love the vlear viewplate in the back. great idea!
The interior colors are great too. Not something you see too often.
The only thing is id maybe suggest using a black wash on those vents by the glove box, id give em a little more realizm n definition :2cents:

as an RSX owner, i am amzed! paint it Milano Red! i mean the abbreviation for the paint code is MR, seems like a sign from God;) looks sweet and i LOVE teh mugen front bumper you've got going there, i'll be keeping updated on this one!

The rear bumper is finished now. I've made an air vent in the bumper for the intercooler.
