Hey guys I need a few opinions from you guys....I am going to be sending my tranny out here around the end of the month to shep to get a rebuild on it....since the damn thing will be gone for a month and I am going to have the engine out anyway I was thinking of going through and rebuilding it....the only problem with it right now is that I have a bad exhaust valve seal....but since I am the 4th owner of this car and I know that one owner before me modded it quite a bit and I am not sure how hard he ran it or how well it was serviced or anything I would much rather be safe than sorry later...I have been looking around and I have found that Top Line seems to be the only kit out there for a rebuild...has anyone used the Top Line rebuild kit? The other option would to be to just buy all the parts individually and it came out to around the same price.... If you guys know of any other options out there let me know....I will probably be taking it down to Road Race Enginerring's machine shop for some of the work...Also if you think that there is anything that I should definatly replace that may not come in the kits....Thanks in advance guys...

Don't quote me on this, but the folks at RRE generally don't like customers bringing in their own parts. They refused to install my SBR motor, citing liability issues, which is understandable.

I highly recommend getting everything done at RRE, both parts and labor. That way, you have all your bases covered if they screw up. If they installed a part they did not supply, they may deny repairs/warranties.
