Should I buy a new engine and put it in or should I buy a turbo n sup my 2.4 up. Its got 150,000 + miles on it. What kinda turbo works wid it.

try the search feature, it works wonders. there have been many more topics like this. but i.m.o. i wouldnt soup up ur car. use it for a daily driver and save up for something w/ some potential. ur car, with as many miles as it has on it, wouldnt be benefitial to modify it. even with a turbo u would be lucky to make 180 hp to the wheels....and then i would give it a year at most before it crapped out on u. but a s/c would be the way to go w/ ur car. its a lot less strain on the engine, puts out about the same power, and is WAY cheaper.

...Agreed. Atleast do a new engine swap first so you have a clean slate with no miles or wear.

I vote for a new engine or at least rebuild this one before you boost it and to use the *search* button. With 150k plus on your current engine boosting it might do more harm then good.

Your going to need a whole new tear down and rebuild with that many miles.
