Getting to rear brakes

Hello,

I have a 95 Isuzu Rodeo and I can not get my rachet in there to get the screw off because of the leaf spring. I trieda 14 mm wrench but it was about to strip the scew. Do you think I will have to take off the whole unit to change the rear pads?
