ABS light on

okay my ABS brake light is on i bought the car like that.. just yesterday... i took it to the shop and they said take it to honda to replace the booster and cylinder... honda tried to charge me 1200 to fix it and i dont kno if that is worth it... i have to stomp on the brakes just for it to stop and my leg muscles are only so big lol.. like toothpicks.. any idea on what i can do to get rid of that abs light and fix the brake problem any help is appreciated ty

Sounds almost like a wheel speed sensor issue to me.. Yea it could be the master cylinder and/or booster but I dont see how that would turn the ABS light on. I think you can run a normal ECU check to find the ABS codes aswell. When you jumper the test plug and turn the ignition to the on position I think that light flashes codes to.

ok i fixed the booster now the brakes are lockin up or somethin i could barely accelerate.. the shop fixed the booster and when i got it back the brakes worked fine then after about 20 min it doesnt lock up.. its just like i steppin on the brakes but im not steppin on the brakes... weird i need help thank u kindly
