Are performance spark plug wires worth it, will you really see a 3-4hp boost and better gas mileage?

What are some good brands?

You're gonna get alot of mixed feed back on this one, some say the $150+ Nology Hotwires are the best, some will say that the $25 Bosch ones from your local car parts work just as well for them. As far as good brands, the only one I know of that are pretty good are Accel wires.

plug wires are not gonna add any horsepower...still have the same distributor cap, ignition coil and plugs that burn at the same temp...if you dont wanna upgrade all the ignition system components then they are pretty...and look good in the engine bay

I will first hand tell you Nology hot wires are pure piles of shit. In the end with their little capacitor are grossly retarding the timing of your engine. While in a hard acceleration cause the engine to missfire. Some have success I on the other hand have not. Wires do not add HP, they just restore efficiency to the ignition system. Unless your going MSD-DIS2 your just basically restoring the efficiency and make the signal a lil cleaner for a better idle.

I thought you found out that the wires weren't the misfiring problem?
