Replacement alternator

Im speaking on behalf of my bf.
he owns a 1995 Taurus SHO 3.0L V6 5spd
he recently purchased a full $8000 Kicker sound system which in turn, caused his car to run at 9 volts. As a result his alternator went my guess b/c it couldnt handle the system. pleeeeze ne1 know of a good site to find an alternator with more than 130amps which is stock amperage (im guessing)
and not at ridiculous prices. somewhere $400<
