Running lights dont work!

my running lights dont work and whats wierd is that my blue hi beam indicater light flashes on and off. When I turn the headlights on, they work fine and the blue flashing stops. When I removed the running light relay, every thing works fine, except no running lights and the flashing blue stops. Anybody have any ideas.

Are you referring to the daytime running lights? If yes, then the daytime running light relay maybe bad.

when your high beam light is flashing on the panel and your day time running lights do not work . This means your one high beam bulb is burnt out. Replace the bulb and your day time running lights will work again.

I would guess they probably got the problem fixed seeing as this thread is from 7 months ago!

I just got a used 99 contour a few days ago.
If your referring to the little round front bumper lights/fog lights.
Simply turn the headlight switch to the far right then pull out on the headlight switch/knob. Both the headlights & fog lamps will be turned on. I haven't checked out turning on the round front bumper lights alone yet.
