I was wondering how much trouble it would be to swap out the 3.4 in my 2007 Silverado with either a 4.8 or 5.3?? would the wiring all work or would It just be too much trouble.... I have a friend who can get me a LS1 for cheap and I was also considering putting it in and just going carbeurated.

Thanks

big trouble imo.a 6 to 8 cylinder swap is bad enough.its cheaper to buy one with a v8.but then to install an LS1 that really doesnt belong there nd then make it carbureted is most likely not worth the trouble.

If your going to do it.... Why not go all the way with one of these?

Not too sure but, it's already to go racing if that's what your shopping for.
