ok, i drive a 10 year old audi crap box. it was raining the other day and the engine sucked up water. it died. Cost of new, 10 year old audi engine : $7000. Amount car is worth: $4500. Amount insurance is going to give me, and then the car will be destroyed: $7100. coolness: 100%
now, im looking to get into a new, or honda certified used lude-i wont deal with a used car again cuz we spent over 2.5k on the audi in 2 years. so what is the difference in the type SH and regular coupe? is the type SH worth the x-tra $$? and what years are 4th gen and what years are 5th gen? also, r ludes reliable? cuz 10 year old audis arent. thx guys!

for some spirited driving, SH is the best, for getting around town, not worth the money. 4g is '92-96 5g being '97+. I will redommend you get vtec, the others are dogs in their standard form. also stay away from the 5g sport shift, if you don't want as much worrying about repairs. I have a 2000 SH, it is great, it is so fun you throw around turns in

i drive a 98 SH. the only difference bettween the SH and non is a traction system called ATTS (or something like that). it basically puts torque to the wheels that are grabbin the most. So other than this tranny mod, as far as I know there is no difference between SH and non. Of course u can get a nonSH lude without Vtec, but all SH are vtec. My lude runs strong, but it takes premium fuel. Yeah, the expensive shit.

all 5g preludes are vtec in america. there are quite a bit of differences, none all that important, just some little aesthetic stuff, door lights spoiler, flat rear deck, body color side skirts, just little crap, ATTS is the best and main difference
